How many thousands of people in Johannesburg and the Witwatersrand must have seen this message I painted on a mine dump. The letters were 45 ft high and 3 ft wide and could not be seen one from another, yet the sign came out perfectly symmetrical. I hauled up scores of 5 gallon buckets of white wash to paint this sign which lasted one year. I painted it 3 consecutive years and moved away. Some church which I believe was the Pentecostal Protestant Church in Boksburg painted it for many years after.
